My interests lie in general psychology and behavioral medicine, treating adults ages 18 years or older. Many of my patients struggle with multiple life issues, which present a range of psychological and emotional symptoms. I work with adults who have significant anxiety, panic, depression, obsessive-compulsive symptoms, fear of driving, performance anxiety, social phobia, PTSD, and coping with life transitions (i.e. post-college adjustment, middle-age, retirement-age, divorce). In many cases, my patients battle chronic medical conditions such as morbid obesity, heart disease, diabetes, cancer, chronic pain, sleep issues, and chronic fatigue that can be the primary problem. The relationship between our emotional and physical health is quite strong; therefore, I believe these issues must be comprehensively and holistically addressed.

Additionally, I currently head a commercially run weight management program called Behavioral Medicine Weight Management (BMWM). BMWM provides individual and group services to assist people in their weight loss, and weight sustaining journey. Top line New Direction protein supplements form the basis of the program.

Over the past twenty years, I have been very fortunate to have trusted by so many people to help and guide them in times of struggle, hardship, and accomplishment.

A foundation of connecting, sharing, and understanding form the basis of my practice, while also providing a truly supportive environment for change.
